ROCK Rocking On Character and Kindness
KALLE presents 10 character activities/curriculum to accompany the art.
KALLE ROCKS FRIENDSHIP – a hidden painted rock project and creative writing activity. Can be done in partnership with another school.
KALLE ROCKS KINDNESS - a school paper chain project and contest with prizes for the classroom and one for each child in the winning classroom.
KALLE ROCKS SELF ESTEEM – looking at ourselves, what makes me unique, a self-portrait and doll making project, part of a national initiative.
KALLE ROCKS GRATITUDE - a community-based project promoting random acts of kindness.
KALLE ROCKS FUN – a series of 5 games to play
KALLE ROCKS DIVERSITY- "I have a dream", a study of Martin Luther King and a writing project to be published and a class poster.
KALLE ROCKS ART - a study of outsider artists and recycling, a painting project, and a parent attended gallery opening
KALLE ROCKS BECOMING AN "I LIKE COLOR" AUTHOR- each child writes and illustrates one page in the book. The book is then published.
